Scout
Scout hunts real commercial opportunities with live web search, then hands Alan one paragraph to validate. It's part of OpenMausBot, his team of research bots.
What it does
- Searches the live web for real commercial opportunities.
- Boils what it finds down to one paragraph.
- Hands that paragraph on to be checked before anything gets built.
Who it's for
- Alan, mostly. It's an in-house tool he uses before deciding what to build next.
- Anyone curious how the research side works. Get in touch if you'd like to know more.
What you get back
Example output, made-up data

|---|---|---|
| Booking tool for Trade A | Owners asking for it in forums | Validate |
| Quote follow-up for Trade B | Repeated complaints about slow replies | Validate |
| Rota helper for Shop C | Few simple options found | Park |
